Thank you for buying our WordPress Theme. The complete procedure to configure and manage a WordPress Website from the beginning is shown in this documentation in different portions.

What is WordPress CMS?

WordPress is an open source tool which is based on PHP and MySQL to create websites. It is a completely free content management system(CMS) and a strong blogging platform. What is a WordPress template

A WordPress template acts as a skin for the websites which are created on WordPress CMS. The installation of a WordPress Template is very easy. With the help of an installed new template, you can change the look of your WordPress website very easily. All the requisite source files are provided with a WordPress template and you can freely go for editing and increasing it the way you want.

Files structure

The template package you have downloaded consists of several folders. Let's see what each folder contains:

  • Screenshots - contains template screenshots. Not for production.
  • theme - contains WordPress theme files.
    • Perfect-blog-pro.zip - this folder content all the necessary files for the theme.
  • license.txt - contains license details.
  • readme.txt - contain information about theme images path and font use and usage scripts.

Theme Installation Via WordPress

Install a Theme using WordPress Admin Theme Search.

If you’re looking to install a free WordPress theme from the WordPress.org themes directory, then the easiest way is by using the WordPress admin theme search functionality.

First thing you need to do is login to your WordPress admin area. Next, click on Appearance » Themes..


Once you are on the themes page, click on the Add New button at the top.


Based on your search, you will see a single theme or a list of themes that met your criteria. In our case, we searched for the blogging theme Perfect-Blog-Pro. When you see the theme that you want to install, simply bring your mouse on top of the image. This will reveal the install button, preview button, and details button. Go ahead and click on the install button.


WordPress will now install your theme and show you a success message along with the link to activate or live preview.

Click on the activate button, and you’ve successfully installed and activated your WordPress theme.


Install a Theme by using Upload Method from WordPress Admin.

The first method that we covered only allows you to install free themes that are available in the WordPress.org theme’s directory. But what if you want to install a commercial “premium” WordPress theme from companies like ThemeLab, StudioPress, iThemes, etc. Or what if you want to install a custom theme? Well in this case, you would need to install the theme using the upload method from your WordPress admin.

Start by downloading the .zip file of the theme that you purchased from a marketplace or a commercial theme provider.

Next login to your WordPress admin area and click on Appearance » Themes..


Once you are on the themes page, click on the Add New button at the top.

On the next screen, click on the Upload Theme button at the top.


You will be prompted to choose the zip file that you downloaded earlier. Select the file and click Install Now.


Once your theme is installed, you will see a success message along with the link to activate and preview the theme.

Click on the activate button, and you’ve successfully installed and activated your WordPress theme. Depending on the theme, it may add additional settings options that you may need to configure either through the theme customizer or through a separate options panel.

Theme Installation Via FTP.

Installing a WordPress Theme using FTP

First installed and setup your FTP program, connect to your host using FTP. You would need to go to the path (/wp-content/themes/). Once you’re there, simply upload your theme’s folder there.

Remember you must unzip the folders before you upload a theme using FTP. Once you have uploaded the theme, you would need to go to your admin area and click on Appearance » Themes..

You should see the theme that you uploaded listed there. Bring your mouse on top of that theme and click on the activate button and you’ve successfully installed and activated your WordPress theme.

Color/Font Settings

Color/Font is very easy process.At a single glance of click you can set the color and fonts of the Headings, Paragrapgh and Buttons.

Every individual section have an option to set the color pallete for Headings,Title/Text,Paragraph,Button Text and Button Background depending upon the number of option that are available in that respective section.

Import demonstration content with one click to get your theme setup. This content will guide you through building your website for website creation.

Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Get started

Click on"Demo Importer" and then "Run Importer".


How to set up homepage

Setup Home Page Template

Follow these instructions to setup Home page.

  • 1. Create Page to set template: Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New Page.

    Label it "home" or anything as you wish. Then select template "home-page" from template dropdown.


  • 2. Set the front page: Go to Setting -> Reading --> Set the front page display static page to home page.

  • Once you have done with this you can see all the demo content on front page.

Section Ordering

Section Ordering

How to Arrange and Reordering Section.

Section reordering basically means to arranage the section as per our requirement. in order to proceed with this section you need to drag section on top or bottom where you need it. when you will drap any section top or bottom your front view will change according customizer values.

For Section Re-ordering,you just need to simply drag-and-drop options into any order as per your wish .

  1. In order to proceed with Section Ordering: Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Section Ordering.


Header Section


This section shows how to setup the header section.

Steps to adding site identity logo.

Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Site identity.



For Menu Section follow these steps.

1. Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add new pages.


2. Go to >> Dashboard >> Appearance >> Menu.


For further details to setup this section.

3. Go to >> Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Setting >> Header Section.


In this way you can setup the header section.

Social Icon Section


Follow these instructions to setup social icon Section.

Go to >> Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Social Icons.


In this way you can setup the social icon section.

Setup Slider Section

Follow the below steps to setup the slider.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Slider Settings.


In this section you can set the slider image,Title and description. You can update the number of slides.

You can also set the heading color, subheading color and it's font family.


In this way you can setup the slider section.

Setup Things You Dont Wanna Miss Section

Follow the below steps to setup this section

Go to >> Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Link Boxes.




In this way you can setup the this section.

Setup Category Tab

Follow the below steps to setup category tab section

1. Go to Dashboard >> Posts >> Categories >> Add new category.


2. Go to >> Dashboard >> Posts >> Add new.



For further details to setup this section

3. Go To >> Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Category Tab.



In this way you can setup the Category Tab section.

Setup Homepage Sidebar

Follow the below steps to setup homepage sidebar section

In order to proceed with homepage sidebar section.

GO to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets.


You can setup homepage sidebar section from customizer also.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Widgets.


In order to proceed with About Me Section.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Widgets >> Home Page sidebar.


In order to proceed with Trending Post Section.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Widgets >> Home Page Sidebar.


In order to proceed with Newsletter Section.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Widgets >> Home Page Sidebar.


In order to proceed with Instagram Feed Section.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Widgets >> Home Page Sidebar.


In order to proceed with Latest Post Section.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Widgets >> Home Page Sidebar.


In this way you can setup the home page sidebar section.

Setup Footer Section

Follow the below steps to setup footer section

In order to proceed with Footer section,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Footer.


You have three columns in the footer. Each column have different element to show.

Go To Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets .


After adding the widget you will get footer as you shown in the below screenshot.


In this way you can setup the footer section.

Setup Footer Text Section

Follow the below steps to setup footer text section

In order to proceed with footer text section,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Footer Text.



In this way you can setup the footer text section.

Plugin Configuration

For the Plugin section you have to add Perfect Blog plugins and activate it.

Steps for the plugin installation,

1.Dashboard >>Plugin >> Installed plugin.


Once you added plugins

For plugin installation you will get the following points on your Dashboard.


1. For Instagram Feed section

First of all, in order to set up Instagram section, you need to install updated Instagram Feed Plugin.

Go to >> Dashboard>> Plugins >> Installed Plugins >> Add New


Go to >> Dashboard >> Plugins >> Installed Plugins >> Upload Plugins


Once, you install Plugin, just activate it.

Go to >> Dashboard >> Plugins >> Installed Plugins >> Activate


You will get Instagram Feed option on your Dashboard, click on it.

Now, you can see blue button in screenshot below.

Just click on that button in order to login with instagram credentials.

Once you login and save changed, you can see instagram shortcode i.e [instagram].


For further setup of this section.

Go to >> Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Widgets >> Homepage sidebar

Just add this shortcode in your instagram widget section.


2. For the Newsletter section

You need add Contact Form plugin first.

Go to >> Dashboard >> Plugins >> Installed Plugins >> Add New


Go to >> Dashboard >> Plugins >> Installed Plugins >> Upload Plugins


After installing Contact Form Plugin it will show on plugins. You Need To Activate the plugin.


Go to >> Dashboard >> Contact Form >> Add New


Go To Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Widgets >> Homepage Sidebar


3. For the Contact Page


You need to Create Contact Form Plugin Page first.

Go to >> Dashboard >> Contact >> Add New


You need to Create Contact Page first.

Go to >> Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New


Go To Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Setting >> Contact


Page Templates and Sidebars


Page Templates

  • Default Template (the default page template with a right sidebar position).
  • Home Template (the default Home template).
  • Contact Template (the default Contact template with no sidebar position).
  • Page with right sidebar (the default page template with a right sidebar position).
  • Page with left sidebar (the default page template with a left sidebar position).
  • Blog Template (the default blog page with no sidebar position).
  • Blog with left sidebar (the default blog page with left sidebar position).
  • Blog with right sidebar (the default blog page with right sidebar position).

Posts, Categories and Post Formats

Adding category

  1. Log into your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
  2. Click the Posts tab.
  3. With that done, click Categories for blog posts.
  4. Type in the name of your new category.
  5. After that, click the Add New Category button.
  6. Click the Publish button.

Creating a Blog post


  1. Log into your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
  2. Click the Posts tab.
  3. Click the Add New tab.

Shortcodes

A shortcode is a powerful content building tool. http://codex.wordpress.org/Shortcode. Shortcodes are easy to use. First of all, make sure that the editing mode is set to Visual.


All available shortcodes are conditionally divided into these groups:

  • Newsletter[contact-form-7 id="1907" title="Newsletter"] - used for Newsletter section output. "1907" is the id replace it with yours.
  • Contact Page[contact-form-7 id="1917" title="Contact Page"] - used for Contact Page section output. "1917" is the id replace it with yours.
  • Instagram Feed[instagram-feed] - used for instagram section output.

Custom Widgets


 How to Setup Additional Theme Add Ons

  1. First, you need to download the plugin from the source (which will be a zip file (bb-title-banner-image.zip and bb-gallery-images.zip)). Next, you need to go to WordPress admin area and visit Plugins » Add New page.

  2. After that, click on the Upload Plugin button on top of the page.
  3. This will bring you to the plugin upload page. Here you need to click on the choose file button and select the plugin file you downloaded earlier to your computer.

  4. After you have selected the file, you need to click on the install now button.

  5. WordPress will now upload the plugin file from your computer and install it for you. You will see installation is finished.
  6. Once installed, you need to click on the Activate Plugin link to start using the plugin.
