Introduction

Thank you for buying our WordPress theme. In various sections, this documentation demonstrates the entire process of configuring and managing a WordPress website from start to finish.

What is WordPress CMS?

You can use this CMS to create websites and solid online apps. It requires little knowledge or technical ability to manage. What is a WordPress template

A WordPress template serves as a skin for websites built with the WordPress CMS. A WordPress Template is very simple to install. You can easily change the appearance of your WordPress website by installing a new template. A WordPress template includes all of the necessary source files, which you can freely edit and expand as you see fit.

Help and Support

Files structure

The template package you downloaded is divided into several folders. Let's take a look at what's in each folder:

  • Screenshots - contains template screenshots. Not for production.
  • theme - contains WordPress theme files.
    • Advance-portfolio-pro.zip - This folder contains all of the files required for the theme.
  • license.txt - contains license details.
  • readme.txt - contain information about theme images path and font use and usage scripts.

TS KEY ACTIVATION

The TS Key Activation procedure is as follows.

Because you will receive the License Key on your Email, use that key to Activate License.

Follow the following Process to Activate License.

Go to the Dashboard » Appearance » TS Key Activation » Enter Key » Save Changes.


After Entering The Key » Activate Licence.


After you Activate Licence, the key will be activated, and you will be able to begin using the theme.


Theme Installation Via WordPress

Install a Theme using WordPress Admin Theme Search.

The simplest way to install a free WordPress theme from the WordPress.org themes directory is to use the WordPress admin theme search functionality.

The first step is to log into your WordPress admin area. Then, click on Appearance » Themes..


When you've arrived at the themes page, click the Add New button at the top.


You will see a single theme or a list of themes that met your criteria based on your search. We looked for the blogging theme Advance-Portfolio-Pro in our case. When you find the theme you want to install, simply place your mouse over the image. This will reveal the install, preview, and details buttons. Proceed to the installation button.

WordPress will now install your theme and display a success message, as well as a link to activate or view the live preview.When you find the theme you want to install, simply place your mouse over the image. After clicking the activate button, your WordPress theme has been successfully installed and activated.


Install a Theme by using Upload Method from WordPress Admin.

The first method we discussed only allows you to install free themes from the WordPress.org theme directory. But what if you want to install a commercial "premium" WordPress theme from ThemeLab, StudioPress, iThemes, or another company? What if you want to use a different theme? In this case, you must install the theme via the upload method in your WordPress admin.

Begin by downloading the.zip file of the theme from a marketplace or a commercial theme provider.

After that, go to your WordPress admin area and click on Appearance » Themes..


When you've arrived at the themes page, click the Add New button at the top.

On the next screen, at the top, click the Upload Theme button.

You will be prompted to select the zip file that you previously downloaded. Choose the file and press the Install Now button.


Once your theme has been installed, you will see a success message with a link to activate and preview it.

Your WordPress theme has been successfully installed and activated after you click the activate button. Depending on the theme, it may include additional settings options that you must configure via the theme customizer or a separate options panel.

Theme Installation Via FTP.

Installing a WordPress Theme using FTP

After installing and configuring your FTP program, connect to your host via FTP. You must navigate to the path (/wp-content/themes/). Simply upload your theme's folder once you've arrived.

Remember to unzip the folders before uploading a theme via FTP. After you have uploaded the theme, go to your admin area and click on Appearance » Themes..

You should see your uploaded theme listed there. Bring your mouse over that theme and click the activate button to finish installing and activating your WordPress theme.

Section Color/Font Pallete

Color/font selection is a simple process. You can change the color and fonts of the headings, paragraphs, and buttons with a single click.

Depending on the number of options available in that section, each individual section has the option to set the color palette for Headings,Title/Text,Paragraph,Button Text, and Button Background.

How to set up homepage

Setup Home Page Template

Follow these instructions to setup Home page.

  • 1. Create Page to set template: Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New Page.

    Label it "home" or whatever you want. Then, from the template dropdown, select "home-page."


  • 2. Set the front page: Go to Setting -> Reading --> Set the front page display static page to home page.

  • When you're finished, you'll be able to see all of the demo content on the front page.

Header Section


This section explains how to create the header section. The first step is to include a site identity logo.

Steps for adding site identity logo.

1.Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Site identity.

2.Follow this step.

For Menu Section follow these steps.

Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add new pages.


follow same steps for the next pages.

Next step


Go to >> Dashboard>> Appearance >> menu.

Setup Slider Section

1. Follow the below steps to setup the slider.

2. Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings>> Slider Settings.


3. For Social Icons refer to the social icons section.

4. You can customize the slider image, title, and description in this section. The number of slides can be changed.

5. You can also change the color of the heading, subheading, and font family.

Setup Portfile Section

Follow the below steps to customize this section

Go To>> Appearance>> Customize>> Portfile

Setup Services Tab Section

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings>> Services Tab Section.

AWESOME PORTFOLIO


1. You must activate the Advance-portfolio-pro plugin for this section.

Follow the below steps to setup this section.

2. Go to Dashboard>>Portfolio>>Add new.



3. Go To >> Dashboard >> Portfolio >> Category.

4. Create the category and select the category.


5. Go To>>Appearance>>Customize>>Theme Settings>>Awesome Portfolio.


Setup Features

1. Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings>> Features.


2. Then your features section will look like this.


My Working Area

1. Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings>> My Working Area Section.

Setup Testimonial Section


In order to proceed with Testimonial section,

1. You must activate the Advance-portfolio-pro post type plugin for this section.

2. Go to Dashboard >> Testimonial >> Add New Testimonial .


3. If you want to add more testimonials, repeat the previous step.


      4. Go to Appearance >> Customize >> TS Settings>> Testimonials.


      5. Then your testimonials section will look like this.


Setup Sponsors Section

1. Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings>> Sponsors.


2. Your sponsors section will then look like this.


Latest Post

Dashboard >> Posts >> Add new Post.


For a better understanding, look at the screenshots below.

If you want to add more posts, repeat the process.


For Customize Part

Go To Dashboard >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Latest Posts.



Setup Contact Me Section

1. Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings>> Contact Me.


2. The next step is to install the contact form 7 plugin and then insert the shortcode into the contact me section.

3. Refer to the plugin section for a better understanding.

4. Your contact me section will then look like this.


Setup Footer Text Section

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> TS Settings>> Footer Text.


Plugin Confrigration

1. You must add and activate advance portfolio pro post type plugins in the Plugin section.

2. Steps for installing the plugin,

3 .Dashboard>>Plugin>>Installed plugin.


4. After you've added the plugin section,

3. Go To >> Dashboard >> Portfolio >> Category.

4. Create the category and then select it.

For Testimonials Section

Go to >>Dashboard>>Testimonials>>Add new Testimonials


3. If you want to add more testimonials, repeat the previous step.

5. For contact form 7 plugin

Page Templates and Sidebars


Page Templates

  • Default Template (the default page template with a right sidebar position).
  • Home Template (the default Home template).
  • Contact Template (the default Contact template with no sidebar position).
  • Blog with right sidebar (the default page template with a right sidebar position).
  • Home Template (the default Home template).
  • Blog with left sidebar (the default Contact template with no sidebar position).

Posts, Categories and Post Formats

Adding category

  1. Log into your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
  2. Click the Posts tab.
  3. With that done, click Categories for blog posts.
  4. Type in the name of your new category.
  5. After that, click the Add New Category button.
Click the Publish button.

Creating a Blog post


  1. Log into your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
  2. Click the Posts tab.
  3. Click the Add New tab.

Shortcodes

A shortcode is a useful tool for creating content. http://codex.wordpress.org/Shortcode. Shortcodes are simple to use. First and foremost, ensure that the editing mode is set to Visual.


All available shortcodes are conditionally classified into the following groups:

  • Awesome Portfolio[Portfolio].
  • Testimonials[advance-portfolio-pro-testimonials].

Custom Widgets

1. If you want to include a footer section in your theme, you can do so using widgets.
